Plot[edit]
The video game revolves around—like the first Battlefield: Bad Company—the squad of the same name. The world is on the brink of World War III; Russia and the United States are bogged down in a war that threatens to engulf half the world, Russia leading armies toward the Americas and then heading toward the the United States, leaving the the United States defenseless against the imminent Russian invasion; furthermore—as if that weren't enough—the CIA suspects Russia possesses a new weapon of mass destruction, so the Bad Company squad is sent to uncover that mysterious weapon.
