In a lush, post-apocalyptic open world, colossal mechanized creatures dominate a territory they have wrested from humanity.
Over time, humans have returned to hunting and gathering, surviving amidst towering forests, majestic mountain ranges, and evocative ruins of a bygone civilization, while savage machines have become all-powerful.
You are Aloy, a skilled hunter who relies on speed, cunning, and agility to survive and protect your tribe against the strength, size, and raw power of the machines. Defying all logic, you will embark on a vital and fascinating adventure to unravel the secrets of a forgotten civilization and the ancient artifacts it left behind, and to learn more about the advanced technologies that will determine the fate of the planet—and of human existence itself.
